From his college days, working as a roofer during summer months, to skilled labor in framing, carpentry, painting, tile, plumbing, electrical and HVAC, his curiosity to expand his knowledge of buildings and systems has never found an end. He founded and then operated “Smart Brush” for eight years providing premium painting and decorating services in commercial, residential, and new construction contexts. He’s completed full kitchen, bath and basement renovations from frame to finish and helped with numerous flips throughout the Chicago Suburbs. David has been in and around building projects in nearly every phase and is very comfortable with every aspect of your home inspection.
When David decided to start Sparrow Inspections, he didn’t want to be just some former contractor with a license to inspect homes, so rather than an online vendor, He chose a local inspection firm for training. His technical aptitude caught the eye of instructors and after easily meeting state licensing requirements, He went on to perform over 150 paid inspections with 2 highly reputed mutli-inspector firms in Chicago. He still maintains good relationships with those companies today. Drawing from all this experience, and from his passion for serving people, Sparrow Inspections was born with one goal in mind – empowering you to move forward confidently.
