I live with my family in Batavia IL and therefore spend most of my time in Fox Valley’s Tri-cities of Batavia, Geneva and St. Charles. However, I do home inspections all over greater Chicagoland which certainly keeps things interesting. I’m fortunate to see and inspect all types of buildings, from the classic Chicago Brownstone, to the cozy Cape Cod. One feature of the home that has the greatest impact on the overall vibe is roof design. It’s truly amazing, if you take 10 square frames and change nothing more than the roof line, it transforms into an entirely unique design with a feel and style all it’s own. To prove this point, I employed one of Sparrow Inspections’ most talented in-house illustrators. Despite the recent loss of a tooth, his focus and skill have really come through here.
